Alghanim’s commercial activities begin with the participation in shipping business. Capt. Faisal Thunayan Alghanim is the first Kuwaiti Naval Captain (British Merchant Navy) and instituted the start of Kuwait Oil Tankers Co. in promoting crude oil overseas. Over the years, the Alghanims family diversified in various business and has contributed towards the development of infrastructure in Kuwait’s economy.
